Restaurant Review : Bar Napoli ( Edinburgh)

 

Restaurant  Introduction 

Bar Napoli is a Family run Italian restaurant situated on Hanover Street, Edinburgh.

This Restaurant is absolutely amazing and offers amazing food at such a reasonable price, this restaurant has an amazing Starter, Main, Desserts and drinks menu which each consists of the following:

• Starters: Bar Napoli offers freshly cooked starters such a King Prawns, Fresh Mussels, Deep fried Squid,  Deep fried mozzarella cheese in bread crumbs and much more

• Main course: Within the main course visitors can expect to find traditional Italian meals such as Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese, Mac n cheese, Pizzas, Flatbreads, Calzones and much more freshly cooked options.

• Desserts:The Dessert menu is absolutely amazing and has tasty options such as Banana Split, Assorted fresh ice cream, Knickerbocker Glory, Lemon Sorbet and many more options 

• Drinks: As for drinks menu this restaurant also has an alcohol license meaning it has a variety of options such as Rose Wines, Spirits , Beers, Ciders, spirits and more however as well as this visitors will of course have the option to enjoy a refreshing soft drink such as lemonade or cola as well as Hot Drinks such as Tea ,Coffee, Hot chocolate and other options.

The Menu choice here is amazing for such a small independent restaurant as when I visited I was shocked at all the amazing choices

Food Review 

When I visited this restaurant I had opted just to go for a Main course which was the Lasagne Al Forno which was homemade and freshly baked lasagne ( Pictured Below)

This Lasagne was absolutely delicious once I started to eat the meal I could tell instantly that it was freshly cooked and was homemade as the sauce had such a lovely rich tomato taste, the mince was cooked perfectly it wasn’t undercooked nor overcooked it had such a mouth watering texture and the portion size was absolutely amazing and was reasonably priced for an Italian restaurant, I would highly recommend the lasagne to anyone who might enjoy it as much as I did!

Customer Service Review 

In terms of customer service this restaurant provides amazing service to all its customers! 

When we arrived at the restaurant we were promptly greeted at the door and were directed to a table and once seated immediately took our drink orders, after this once we had looked over the menu and placed it down the waiter was over almost instantly which shows they were ensuring that everyone had quick service.

The staff were absolutely lovely in assisting us, at one point we ordered a lemonade which was flat so we had informed the waiter who then was so apologetic and took our glasses away and ensured that we had a fresh glass which was more fizzier and tasted better.

The Restaurant was well staffed for an independent restaurant as there were plenty of waiters, bar staff and chefs which made for such a prompt turnaround time.

Conclusion

 To conclude I would highly recommend this restaurant who may be out in Edinburgh City Centre and are looking for a great Italian restaurant because the food is amazing, the staff are lovely and the prompt service is definitely an advantage 

I would give this restaurant 4 stars out of 5!
